B1G rivals Penn State and Maryland are still in the mix for the second-best prospect at the junior college level.

On Sunday, 4-star cornerback De’Jahn Warren revealed his top seven schools and both Penn State and Maryland were in consideration. The other five programs still in the running are Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

According to 247Sports, De’Jahn Warren is currently the No. 2 junior college prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. He currently attends Lackawanna Community College but is a native of Hyattsville, Maryland. He’s the best junior college cornerback in the cycle.

Warren was an All-American selection in his first season at Lackawanna. He was all over the field in 2019, totaling 35 tackles, 6 pass break-ups, 5 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles and a tackle for loss.

Lackawanna finished the season with a 10-1 record, with the only loss coming to Mississippi Gulf Coast in the NJCAA championship game.

Warren has been a top target for several programs at the FBS level, receiving 30 offers during the recruiting process.
