Penn State defeated host Wisconsin 16-10, with Noah Cain’s two-yard rushing touchdown the game-decider with 9:17 remaining. The opportunistic Penn State defense forced three turnovers. Jaquan Brisker and Ji’Ayir Brown each had an interception.
Penn State will kick off its home slate in Week 2 with a matchup vs. Ball State on Sept. 11 (3:30 p.m. EST/FS1). Wisconsin will look for its first win of the season when they host Eastern Michigan on Sept. 11 (7 p.m. EST/FS1).
