Three B1G teams are among those with the toughest schedules in college football for the upcoming 2021 season, according to Pro Football Focus. The site released the Top 10 this week.

Nebraska, Purdue and Indiana are among the 10 teams with the hardest slates for the regular season. The Huskers and Boilermakers both finished with losing records in 2020 while the Hoosiers enjoyed a 6-2 campaign.

Out of the B1G, Nebraska is considered the team with the toughest road this fall and is ranked No. 2 overall in difficulty. Nonconference games against Buffalo and Oklahoma add to an already-tough slate that includes matchups against Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern and Minnesota.

Not to mention, the Huskers open the season on the road in Champaign in Week 0 against Illinois.

Purdue was two spots behind Nebraska at No. 4 on the list. The Boilermakers will play 11 Power 5 opponents in 2021 and have just six games on the docket. Purdue will play Oregon State and Notre Dame in non-league play and will play Ohio State and Indiana in cross-division contests.

Rounding out the B1G was Indiana in the No. 7 spot. The Hoosiers open the year on the road against Iowa before coming home to play a likely-ranked Cincinnati team two weeks later. IU will also have to play Michigan and Penn State on the road while also playing Minnesota in a cross-division matchup.
