The two programs in question, Ohio State and Michigan, placed first and ninth, respectively. USC, which joins the B1G in 2024, placed third on the list.

The full selections are as follows:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Notre Dame
  3. USC
  4. Baylor
  5. Arkansas
  6. BYU
  7. Texas A&M
  8. Georgia
  9. Michigan
  10. Oregon State

Ohio State and Michigan both have impressive groups. Four of Ohio State’s five starters fall within the top 20 of PFF’s linemen rankings, including Paris Johnson and right tackle Dawand Jones.

Michigan lost two starters from last season’s College Football Playoff squad, but adds talent in Virginia transfer Olusegan Oluwatimi.

Northwestern made quick work of a solid Nebraska front 7 Saturday in its 31-28 win over the Huskers. They may not be top 10 in the nation, but they should be mentioned for their performance so far this season.
