Possible changes? Bruce Feldman explains the complications with delaying College Football Playoff
With the coronavirus pandemic raging on, there’s been some talk recently on if the College Football Playoff committee is going to delay the CFP.
On the Big Noon Kickoff this morning on FOX, Bruce Feldman explained how difficult it would be to delay it.
He said, “I talked to a lot of power brokers around the sport this week and they are all over the map about whether the CFP calendar can or even should be moved in wake of all these cancellations and postponements. Now here’s the timeline to sort out. January 1st is the day where the semifinal games are scheduled. If you try and push the games back, you run into very few viable TV windows because the NFL playoffs structure has been expanded this year.”
