Power 5 college football head coach fired, per report
Schools and universities are getting serious about the health and safety of their employees and students. According to Monday evening reports, Washington State University has fired the football program’s head coach in Nick Rolovich along with other unvaccinated football assistants.
The status of Rolovich’s future at Washington State has been uncertain for much of the year due to a vaccine mandate in Washington. The state requires all secondary and higher education personnel to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Oct. 18. Rolovich had been seeking an exemption.
Nick Rolovich has been terminated by Washington State, per a university source.
