Colorado (0-5) fired head coach Karl Dorrell and defensive coordinator Chris Wilson Sunday afternoon, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Colorado is coming off a 43-20 road loss to the Arizona Wildcats.

Colorado allowed 673 total yards and 36 first downs from the offense of Arizona. Arizona sophomore quarterback Jayden de Laura completed 33-of-46 of his passes for 484 yards, 6 touchdowns and a QBR of 92.4.

Colorado is ranked 129th in the nation (out of 131 FBS teams) in points allowed per game (43.2) as they are the worst among all Power 5 teams. They are also last in the nation in rushing yards allowed per game (294.2).

In his two and a half years at Colorado, Dorrell accumulated an overall record of 8-15 (6-9 in Pac-12 play).
