Several B1G players are considered to be one of the top five players at their position heading into the 2020 college football season, according to a recent breakdown from Pro Football Focus (PFF).

PFF has looked at the top five players at each position group in college football (omitting special teams). The players considered must be draft eligible for the 2021 NFL Draft, as that was PFF’s primary focus in the story.

Twelve players in the B1G were included on PFF’s list. The tight end, wide receiver, interior offensive line and linebacker positions each had two B1G players included in the top five. The quarterback, running back, edge and cornerback spots each had one.
