Pure MACtion: Akron records improbable 0-yard punt

Believe it or not, college football fans, but there is football on Tuesday night!
The game is going on in the MAC with Tuesday’s kickoff times coming a bit earlier this usual. In this particular game, Akron is taking on Eastern Michigan at home.
Needless to say, the Zips of Akron have had a rough year. At 0-9 entering Tuesday’s game, it’s fair to question if they will win a game this season.
Unfortunately, this play will not be in the running for Play of the Year. It will be more likely that this punt is featured on ESPN’s Not Top-10.
Lining up for a 4th-and-17 play, Akron tried to punt the ball away to EMU. That didn’t turn out great.

According to Yahoo College Football, the punter on the play was actually QB Kato Nelson. We’re just going to assume that the Zips run their regular punter out there next time.
Akron just tried to pooch punt with QB Kato Nelson who ended up kicking a 0-yard punt.
