Another rising football star has lost his life to violence.
247Sports has reported that Joshua Ancrum, a three-star football recruit in the 2020 class was killed in a shooting on Tuesday. The details of the incident have not been released at this time.
The South Florida Express, Ancrum’s 7-on-7 team, tweeted out a message mourning the loss on Tuesday evening.

Ancrum was a three-star cornerback and held offers from Bowling Green, FIU, Southern Miss and USF. According to 247Sports, he was likely to receive more offers “thanks to a strong showing at The Opening Miami.”
Ancrum was a native of Miami, Florida. According to the report, the shooting occurred near Miami Gardens.
