The ACC presidents have reportedly scheduled a meeting for Thursday afternoon, according to a report from Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times.
On Thursday, Baker reported that Florida State President John Thrasher said the presidents in the ACC are meeting at 4:30 p.m. He believes that a “final, final” decision will be made on college football and fall sports for the conference.
Per the report, Thrasher stated he has “every reason to believe it will be a positive recognition.”

Baker states that Thrasher has been an advocate for having Florida State and other schools move forward with a fall football schedule. The ACC is currently one of three Power 5 conferences move forward, along with the SEC and Big 12.
Conference USA, AAC and Sun Belt are still currently planning to push forward with a fall football and sports schedule in 2020.
