The “A-Team” of college football broadcasting will be taking its talent to the professional ranks — at least for one night.
On Friday, James Miller reported that Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit are expected to call one game of the Monday Night Football double-header scheduled for the first week of the NFL season. It had been rumored that Fowler and Herbstreit could step into the NFL booth this season.
Fowler and Herbstriet traditionally work the ABC/ESPN “Game of the Week” in college football every Saturday night. The first date of Monday Night Football is scheduled for Sept. 14.
