Dates for the NBA Draft and early entry deadline have been announced, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Saturday morning, Wojnarowksi reported that the 2020 NBA Draft will be held on October 16 and the early entry deadline is set for August 17. That means players debating a return to college will have to make that decision by August 3 in order to retain eligibility at the NCAA level.

The 2020 NBA Draft, scouting combine and deadline were postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It’s unclear whether or not there will be a scouting combine for the upcoming NBA Draft, and if so, if it will be held before college players have to make a final decision.

While some college players have already made the decision to withdraw from the NBA Draft and return to college, others are continuing to take their time before making a final call. They’ll have just over a month to consider the options.

A handful of B1G stars — including Luka Garza (Iowa), Kofi Cockburn (Illinois) and Ayo Dosunmu (Illinois) — have yet to make a decision.
