Texas transfer Courtney Ramey is reportedly gaining interest from a lot of teams after hitting the transfer portal on Mar. 31. Three teams from the B1G have shown interest in the former Longhorns guard.

Ramey attended Webster Groves High School in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was a 4-star recruit from the class of 2018 per the 247Sports Composite. Ramey was also the No. 1 recruit from the state of Missouri in his recruiting class.

Maryland, Wisconsin, and Illinois all have interest in Ramey. His father told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports the news.

Illinois already has 1 transfer in its class of 2022 with Dain Dainja coming from Baylor. Maryland has yet to sign anyone from the class of the 2022, while Wisconsin has 1 3-star recruit signed so far.

Ramey’s stat line this past season with Texas was 9.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
