Oscar Frayer, a player on Grand Canyon University’s men’s basketball team, has reportedly passed away following a tragic car accident, according to WAC Hoops Digest. His death comes just days after the team played in the NCAA Tournament.

Frayer was a redshirt senior forward for Grand Canyon this season and studied communications. He averaged 6.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Antelopes, which finished the season 17-7.
Grand Canyon played Iowa in the first round matchup of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.
Frayer was a native of Oakland, California. No further details of the accident have been released at this time.
