The Ivy League has decided to cancel its conference tournament this week, due to fears of the coronavirus, according to multiple reports.

College basketball insider Jon Rothstein tweeted out the news on Tuesday morning, and Stadium’s Jeff Goodman also confirmed the news. With the cancellation of the tournament, the Ivy League will send Yale to the NCAA Tournament, as it won the regular season conference title.

The Ivy League conference tournament features just the top four teams. The four teams participating would have been Yale, Harvard, Princeton and Penn.

Yale finished the conference season with an 11-3 mark in league play and was 23-7 overall. Harvard wasn’t far behind, ending with a 10-4 record and a 21-8 overall record this season.

Princeton finished 9-5 and was 14-13 on the year while Penn was 8-6 in league games with a 16-11 overall record.
