Buck had 1 year left on his $11 million dollar contract with Fox, and was released out of his contract since he had been with the company for such a long time. This move comes after the news came out that Troy Aikman will reportedly be leaving for ESPN as well.

Buck has been with Fox since 1994. He has called 23 World Series, and 6 Super Bowls during his time with the broadcast network. According to sources at ESPN, he is expected to sign a $60-$75 million contract. Aikman has reportedly signed a $92.5 million dollar contract with ESPN.

It looks the voice of NFL football on Fox and playoff baseball could be heading to ESPN.
