Yet another B1G basketball game is expected to be postponed because of COVID-19 issues.
ESPN’s Jeff Borzello is reporting that Wednesday evening’s B1G showdown between Minnesota and Penn State is expected to be postponed because of COVID-19 concerns within the Golden Gophers’ program. The team played Iowa over the weekend despite being down four players and two assistant coaches.
No official announcement came from either Penn State or Minnesota at the time of the report. The game was scheduled for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. ET with the contest airing on Big Ten Network.
Minnesota’s game at Penn State tomorrow night has been postponed due to COVID issues within the Golden Gophers’ program, sources told ESPN.

Minnesota sits at 10-5 on the season but is just 1-5 in B1G play. The Gophers are in the middle of a 4-game losing streak. Penn State is 8-7 with a 3-4 mark in conference games. The Nittany Lions are coming off a loss to Ohio State.
