One of the two Monday Night Football games scheduled for Oct. 12 is reportedly being rescheduled due to issues with COVID-19. ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Field Yates reported the news on Sunday morning.
Schefter reported on Sunday morning that the NFL shut down the New England Patriots’ facility, which marked the third time in 10 days operations were stopped. While the team tested, the organization was awaiting direction from the league on how to move forward.
Later in the morning, Schefter reported that Monday’s game between the Patriots and Denver Broncos would be rescheduled. The contest will be moved to next Sunday, but a time for kickoff was not provided.

Denver was supposed to play Miami, but that game will either be canceled or rescheduled, as well.
New England reported another positive test on Sunday morning, which caused the shut down. It’s the fourth positive test in the last eight days.
The Patriots and Broncos were scheduled to play in Foxboro at 5 p.m. ET on Monday night, the first game of a double-header. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit were going to be on the call for the game.
