The first week of the NFL season will feature two of the best quarterbacks in NFL history going head to head. They’re both former B1G stars, too.
Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reported on Thursday that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will open the 2020 NFL season against the New Orleans Saints. That will put Tom Brady against Drew Brees to start the year, an exciting clash of former B1G quarterbacks.

Brady opted to leave New England following the 2019 NFL season, continuing his career in Tampa. Brees announced earlier this offseason that he will be playing for the Saints for at least one more season before considering retirement.
Both quarterbacks are over the age of 40 and will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame when their careers do come to an end.
The NFL is planning to release a full 17-week schedule for the 2020 season tonight.
