Report: Two ESPN employees test positive for coronavirus
Two ESPN employees have tested positive to coronavirus, according to a report from USA Today.
In a memo obtained by USA Today, ESPN confirmed that two employees from the company’s New York office have tested positive for coronavirus. Due to privacy laws, the company did not release the names of those employees. They were last at work on March 11 and March 12.

According to the statement, ESPN has been disinfecting and deep cleaning the work stations the employees used.
Per the CDC, there are now over 30,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the United States.
Sports leagues and events have either been canceled or delayed due to the ongoing public health concerns regarding the virus. Most recently, the NCAA Tournament was canceled, the NBA basketball season was disrupted, the start of the MLB season was delayed and The Masters has been postponed.
