Two B1G standouts have been named on RJ Young’s top Heisman candidate list after Week 6.

RJ Young named his 5 picks Tuesday on the Number One College Football Show, with Ohio State’s QB C.J. Stroud and Michigan RB Blake Corum topping Young’s list. Young was a bit controversial in his remaining picks, with Georgia QB Stetson Bennett, Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker, and USC QB Caleb Williams rounding out the list of 5.

Stroud topping Young’s list isn’t surprising, as the QB is topping most Heisman prediction lists at this point in the season. In Saturday’s win against Michigan State 49-20, Stroud threw for 361 yards and 6 touchdowns, with just 1 interception, which is the most a Power 5 quarterback has thrown without an incompletion in the last 10 seasons according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Corum’s name also should not be a surprise, with the RB amassing a video game-like season so far. He currently sits at 5th in rushing yards with 611, and he leads the nation in rushing touchdowns. Corum has a touchdown in every game he has played, including a 5-touchdown performance against UConn.

Things can always change, but it looks like the Heisman trophy coming to the B1G is a good possibility.
