Scary stuff: Man on sideline knocked unconscious by Utah player sliding out of bounds
A scary moment occurred in Saturday night’s Pac-12 matchup between Utah and Washington, which involved an individual appearing to get knocked unconscious during the game.
The incident occurred at the end of the 1st half, when Utah’s Zemaiah Vaughn returned an interception 73 yards before he was run out of bounds and the collision happened. The individual on the sidelines didn’t appear to see players heading his direction and his legs were taken out from under him.
His head appears to slam onto the ground and he was motionless for at least a few seconds after the play ended. Below is the video of the collision:

That’s scary stuff. With players going full speed, the impact appeared to be pretty fierce and the man didn’t have much of a chance to get out of the way.
Hopefully he’ll be OK.
