Season over? Duke will reportedly miss remaining ACC Tournament games

Duke’s season may have just come to an end despite a win over Louisville Wednesday evening.
In what has been an uncharacteristic year for the Blue Devils, Mike Krzyzewski’s team entered the ACC Tournament likely on the outside looking in at the NCAA Tournament. Needing a deep run for any hopes at a bid, Duke started the week with wins over Boston College and Louisville. That put the Blue Devils into a matchup against No. 15 Florida State with an opportunity to produce a statement win.
Unfortunately, it sounds like Duke will not get an opportunity to play in that game. According to reporter Jeff Goodman with Stadium, Duke received a positive COVID-19 test and will not play Thursday night. That would bounce the Blue Devils from the ACC Tournament:
Duke has a positive COVID test and will not play tonight in the ACC tourney, source told @Stadium. Looks like season is over for the Blue Devils.

On Thursday’s updated Bracketology from ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, Duke remained on the “Next Four Out” line, still needing work to do to get into March Madness. If that projection holds true, Duke will miss the Tournament for the first time since 1994-95.
