A quarterback for the Florida Gators has reportedly been arrested on charges related to child pornography.

According to CBS 4 News in Gainesville, Florida QB Jalen Kitna was arrested for two counts of child exploitation material and three counts of possession of child pornography. Kitna was reportedly investigated following a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

According to the Gainesville Police Department (GPD), they and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) served a search warrant at 2308 SW 38th Drive #6.

GPD says they received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip says that a Discord user distributed an image of child sexual abuse material.

Kitna was a member of Florida’s 2021 recruiting class. He has been suspended indefinitely.
