“It’s funny, I think Ohio State and Tennessee are very similar, you know what I mean? Not quite, but excellent QBs, excellent WRs, an offensive line that does a pretty good job. I think that Tennesee and Ohio State, are almost identical in a lot of ways,” he said.

Not surprisingly, McElroy, who is a former Alabama quarterback, leans more toward the two SEC teams as being slightly better.

“I think Michigan and Georgia are comparable, I really do… I think Michigan’s run game is more potent, I think Georgia’s offense is the tiniest bit more diverse with the type of weapons they have even though I don’t know if they have a true, crazy, explosive playmaker besides Brock Bowers.

“It’s a great question, I think it’s extremely comparable. I think I would lean slightly toward Georgia and Tennessee.”

We will see how all of this will play out at the end of the season as far as who has the best teams.
