Senior CFB writer picks B1G game in Week 6 as a potential 'trap game'
Senior Sports Illustrated college football writer Pat Forde made a list of several trap games for Week 6. He listed Michigan-Indiana as a potential trap game for the Wolverines.
Michigan heads into this week’s matchup as the No. 4 ranked team in the country with a 5-0 record. This has been an outstanding start to the season for Michigan and a College Football Playoff appearance is on the line every week.

In his article, Forde explained why Michigan should be on upset alert. He pointed out that it is a small upset alert compared to other games from this week (via Sports Illustrated):
“Second straight road game for the Wolverines, coming off a feel-good victory at Iowa,” Forde said. “This sets up like last year, when Michigan smoked Wisconsin in Madison and then was life-and-death to beat Nebraska the following week in a rebound road game.”
Forde recognized the expectation to roll through this road schedule in B1G play. Indiana could be a bump in the road for the Wolverines. Indiana holds a 3-2 overall record and lost to Nebraska, 35-21, in Week 5. Since Indiana just lost to Nebraska, this is a game that Michigan is expected to win.
Michigan will be on the road against Indiana on Saturday.
