The 2019 football season may be getting close, but it isn’t here yet.

That’s OK, though. Michigan still hates Ohio State and vice versa. On July 18, at The Athletic, the newest TK Show was posted and Tim Kawakami — a sports writer and talk show host — spoke with Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh.

The show in its entirety lasted just over 30 minutes, but one quote in particular stands out:

Ouch. Harbaugh took a jab at former Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer and this will surely ruffle some feathers. Of course, Meyer can’t exactly get his team to retaliate on the field anymore, but Ohio State will take note of this one. Make no doubt about it.

That being said, Harbaugh isn’t exactly wrong here. Controversy has absolutely followed Meyer. Whether it has been at Florida or Ohio State in particular, the Gators and Buckeyes were in the news multiple times in a negative manner.

Meyer was the coach. Those were his programs.

On Nov. 30 in Ann Arbor, we’ll see if Harbaugh can finally back up his words and defeat Ohio State.
