Social media calling out Kirk Herbstreit for ESPN broadcast of Michigan at Minnesota
By Paul Harvey
Published:
Kirk Herbstreit is a popular pre-game host on ESPN’s College GameDay and one of the most recognizable analysts in the game today, but fans on social media are not thrilled with his work this weekend.
Herbstreit, who attended and played quarterback at Ohio State, traditionally calls the Saturday night game on ABC. This week, that game features a top-25 showdown between Michigan and Minnesota.
Herbstreit is traditionally solid in the booth, but for this game, it looks like fans are calling him out for what they perceive to be a pro-Michigan tilt to his analysis.
Didn’t realize how much Kirk Herbstreit loves Michigan #MICHvsMINN

Drinking game idea: every time Herbstreit says the name of Michigan DC Don Brown take a shot.

Yeah, how’s that dump penalty looking now for Michigan, Herbstreit? You still like the play smh lol

In a surprising admission…Kirk Herbstreit doesn’t mind when Michigan takes an unnecessary 15 yard penalty. :/

Michigan is 3-16 vs Ohio State since 2000.
Kirk Herbstreit: “I like Jim Harbaugh a lot.”
Nelson Swords: “I’ll bet he does.” 😂😂😂😂
