Social media reacts to intense Maryland-Michigan B1G East battle
Maryland and Michigan are locked in a solid game right now. Social media reacted after the first half, as Michigan leads Maryland 17-13 at the break.
Both Michigan and Maryland are 3-0 after their non-conference schedules. Maryland isn’t backing down from the Wolverines in the Big House.
Taulia Tagovailoa is 12-for-18 with 121 yards passing with 1 interception after an interesting no-replay situation that could have gone Maryland’s way. Antwain Littleton II has scored the only touchdown for the Terps so far.
For Michigan, it needs to play better in the second half to avoid getting upset. J.J. McCarthy has 100 yards passing with 1 touchdown through the air. Fortunately for the Wolverines, Blake Corum has been doing his best so far. Corum has 132 yards rushing and 1 touchdown.
The second half of Michigan-Maryland is being played on FOX at the moment.

#Michigan needs to come out to start the 2nd half and run the ball down #Maryland’s throat.

If it wasn’t for @NCAA homer refs calling a Michigan INT when ball hit ground and NOT REVIEWING IT (HMMM), Maryland would be beating Michigan at the half

Why does Maryland football not use timeouts? They should be beating Michigan right now but didn’t challenge an incomplete pass ruled an INT and then doesn’t use a TO on 4th down when his defense is clearly scrambling at the end of the half…. Come on

Minter’s gotta get weird in the second half. Zero organic pressure at all. Alas Colorado State was not a real thing

Make no mistake, Maryland OUTPLAYED Michigan in the first half. That being said, if Michigan scores on their opening possession of the second half then Maryland has all the pressure on them.
