Sporting News releases latest 'post-spring' Top 25 for 2020 college football season
The spring season for college football programs was essentially over before it got started. Some teams had the chance to squeeze in a few practices before the coronavirus pandemic shut down sports across the country, but every team was affected by the loss of organized team activities during these months.

So, now that spring practice has been cut short, Sporting News has released its “post-spring” rankings for the 2020 preseason. Five B1G teams were included in Bill Bender’s top 25 with five months left until kickoff.
Ohio State and Penn State were both inside the top 10, with the Buckeyes listed at No. 2 behind only Clemson. Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin were the other three B1G teams to earn a place in Bender’s rankings.
