Sporting News updates preseason Top 25 rankings

Let the debate begin.
With the college football season a little over a month away, the preseason rankings are starting to trickle in from various media outlets. Monday, Sporting News updated its preseason Top 25 poll.
Five B1G teams were ranked in the preseason Top 25, with all five coming inside the first 13 spots. Four of the five teams to be named in the poll came out of the B1G East.
Ohio State was the highest ranked team out of the conference, sitting at No. 4 in the poll. It should be no surprise that Alabama, Clemson and Georgia were slotted in the top three spots respectively.
Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State also made the Top 25. Here’s how Sporting News has the preseason rankings with a month remaining until kickoff:
