Spreads released for Week 1 B1G games

If you were wondering what Vegas thinks of your team’s odds in the first week of the 2017 season, the wait is over.

Mostly.

VegasInsider.com has released the spreads for most of the Week 1 matchups in college football. All but one B1G game – Michigan vs. Florida – has an opening week spread.

Ten of the 14 B1G teams are favored with three of those scheduled to play non-conference opponents. Louisville is favored over Purdue, Maryland is a two-touchdown underdog to Texas and Washington is a heavy favorite against Rutgers.

In the only conference clash of the first week, Ohio State is favored over Indiana by three touchdowns. Penn State has the biggest edge, tabbed as a 39-point favorite over Akron.

Here’s a look at the spreads for every B1G game in the opening week:

  • Washington (-33) vs. Rutgers
  • Utah State vs. Wisconsin (-37)
  • Bowling Green vs. Michigan State (-18)
  • Wyoming vs. Iowa (-11.5)

  • Louisville (-27) vs. Purdue
  • Arkansas State vs. Nebraska (-19)
  • Nevada vs. Northwestern (-28)
  • Ball State vs. Illinois (-11)
  • Maryland vs. Texas (-15.5)
  • Michigan vs. Florida (no line yet)
