For the first time all year, there’s nothing but B1G games on the schedule. It seems weird writing that as we head into Week 7, but with the new unique scheduling format, this will be the first weekend in which no B1G teams are taking on non-conference competition.

As a result, we’ve got some really interesting matchups. No. 10 Penn State traveling to No. 17 Iowa highlights the B1G’s games this weekend, but Michigan State’s trip to No. 8 Wisconsin and a B1G West showdown between Nebraska and Minnesota should be fun, as well.

Last week marked a first for our Saturday Tradition crew. It was the first time all season that all four of us finished on the right side of the .500 mark on the same weekend. Big improvements have been made.

Here’s a look at how we all finished last weekend, as well as the updated standings:

  • Connor O’Gara: 5-2 (32-22)
  • Paul Harvey: 4-3 (30-24)
  • Dustin Schutte: 5-2 (28-26)
  • Kevin Cunningham: 5-2 (22-32)

We’ll hopefully keep this trend going, now that we have an idea of each team’s identity. Plus, no non-conference games should help a bit.

Now, let’s dive into our Week 7 B1G picks against the spread:
