Can you believe it? After this weekend, there will be college football teams that have already played six games — or half of their schedule. It seriously feels like the season just kicked off.

While it’s amazing that the first part of the season has escaped us so quickly, the month of October usually presents some pretty interesting matchups. That’s exactly what we have in the B1G.

Two top 25 showdowns highlight the weekend, with No. 14 Iowa traveling to No. 19 Michigan and No. 4 Ohio State hosting No. 25 Michigan State. The B1G’s two other ranked teams likely won’t have much trouble, as No. 12 Penn State hosts a depleted Purdue team and No. 8 Wisconsin hosts MAC foe Kent State.

So, with Week 6 on the horizon, it’s time to get to our weekly picks. First, we look back at what was a pretty even Week 5 across the board:

  • Connor O’Gara: 3-4 (27-20 overall)
  • Paul Harvey: 4-3 (26-21 overall)
  • Dustin Schutte: 4-3 (23-24 overall)
  • Kevin Cunningham: 3-4 (17-30 overall)

Will we have a changing of the guard by the time Week 6 comes to an end? We’ll find out Saturday. Here are our Week 6 B1G picks against the spread:
