A tip-off time is set for the season finale between No. 5 Illinois and No. 4 Ohio State next Saturday.

Both programs announced that next weekend’s showdown between the Fighting Illini and Buckeyes is set for 4 p.m. ET. The game will air on ESPN. It will be the rematch of the game played in Champaign in January.

Ohio State defeated Illinois 87-81 in the first meeting. Buckeyes star E.J. Liddell scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the first meeting.

Both Illinois and Ohio State are battling to get one of the top four seeds in the upcoming B1G Tournament, which would ensure a double-bye. There’s also NCAA tournament seeding at stake, with both teams looking to get a resume-boosting win entering the postseason.

Illinois closes out the season with a game against Michigan before taking on Ohio State. The Buckeyes have a contest against Iowa before ending the seasons against the Illini.
