Stephen A. Smith and Desmond Howard were on ESPN’s ‘First Take’ to talk about who should be bringing home the Heisman Trophy at the end of the season. Two B1G stars were mentioned.
To no one’s surprise, Howard ended up going with a Michigan player. That player is Blake Corum. Corum has been very consistent this season when the Wolverines have needed him, which is enough for Howard.
“If you look from a consistency standpoint, you have to look at Michigan’s Blake Corum,” said Howard. “He’s the model of consistency and he’s been able to turn up when they needed him the most.”
Smith ended up going with a much different answer in Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud. Smith highlighted how the Buckeyes are undefeated with Stroud at the helm to support his case.
“Stroud, to me, has to be that candidate right now at Ohio State,” said Smith. “Look at the numbers. They’re undefeated. What’s the problem?”
