Steve Spurrier predicts major SEC upset ahead of 2021 season
The college football season is nearly upon us and the Head Ball Coach recently dropped a major SEC upset he believes will happen in 2021.
Former Florida and South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said during his appearance on 1010 XL in Jacksonville, that he believes No. 13 Florida will defeat No. 1 ranked and defending national champion Alabama when they face off on Sept. 18 (3:30 p.m. EST/CBS).

That would be a seismic victory for the Gators. Alabama defeated Florida last season in the SEC title game. Alabama has knocked off Florida the last three times the Gators reached the SEC title game. Alabama is currently on a seven-game winning streak vs. Florida.
The last victory for Florida against Alabama came on Dec. 6, 2008 in the SEC title game.
