Stone Saunders is a key quarterback prospect and a major recruit out of Pennsylvania for the class of 2025. On Tuesday, he updated his recruitment with a top 5 group moving forward.

Out of the B1G, Saunders is still considering Michigan and Nebraska moving forward. In recent years, Jim Harbaugh has landed elite QBs in JJ McCarthy and Jadyn Davis while Matt Rhule is in the beginning steps of turning around Nebraska’s program.

Georgia, Kentucky and Miami round out Saunders’ list.

Saunders is listed at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds out of Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. According to the 247 Sports Composite, Saunders is a 4-star prospect as the 21st QB in the country and the No. 8 player out of PA for the cycle.

In terms of the 2025 recruiting class, both Michigan and Nebraska hold a pair of commitments in the early process for the cycle. Both B1G schools are still searching for their QB of the cycle, and we’ll see if either team can land Saunders on the recruiting trail.
