Surging Jonathon Cooper registers 1st career sack with Broncos
The Denver Broncos notched a huge upset win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and Jonathon Cooper was a big part of that happening.
He continues to get a lot of snaps and turned in his best performance of the season, which included getting his first sack. It came while the Broncos were up 16-0 in the 2nd quarter as Dak Prescott had no shot of getting out of it.

Cooper beat the Cowboys tackle clean and was able to get Prescott from behind to force a 3rd down. He ended up finishing this game with 4 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.
He’s slowly been getting more playing time as the season has progressed. In Week 7, he got 56% of the defensive snaps and then in Week 8, he finished with 76% of the snaps.
As he continues to get better, it won’t be long until those numbers get even higher.
