Tennessee fans are ecstatic after defeating Alabama for the first time since 2006.
Not only did the fans storm the field and take down the goalposts, but the goalposts were taken outside of the stadium. Volunteer fans were seen marching through the streets of Knoxville holding the goalpost above their heads.
After a huge upset, it is common for fans to storm the field. Taking the goalposts out of the stadium and onto the streets might be a first, though.

Tennessee had lost 15 straight in the “Third Saturday in October” rivalry before finally defeating the Tide on a last-second 40-yard field goal. This is not the first time that Tennessee fans have reacted crazily after a game.
The victory kept the Volunteers perfect on the season, while Alabama earned their first loss. Tennessee will play host to FCS-opponent UT-Martin next, while Alabama takes on Mississippi State.
