The Sooners and the Longhorns will leave the Big 12 and enter the SEC no later than the 2025 season.
That left the Big 12 scrambling to find new members for their conference. They did find several teams from the Group of 5: BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF.
Oklahoma is undefeated this season, sitting at 5-0 and No. 6 in the country. Texas is 4-1 and is the No. 21 team in the country, and its only loss was against a future SEC opponent in No. 13 Arkansas.
Oklahoma and Texas have played at the Cotton Bowl every year since 1929. Every year the Longhorns and Sooners play during the Texas State Fair.
Oklahoma and Texas will kick off in Dallas, TX., at noon ET on ABC from the Cotton Bowl.
