Texas RB takes a nasty tumble after attempting to hurdle defender (Warning: graphic content)
Texas running back Bijan Robinson may never attempt to hurdle a defender for the rest of his career. And nobody would blame him.
In Saturday’s rivalry game between Texas and Texas Tech, Robinson attempted to hurdle a defender in an attempt to pick up a few extra yards. But a highlight-reel moment turned into a heart-stopping landing pretty quick.
Robinson took a nasty hit and landed awkwardly on the play. The image is hard to describe, but below are two videos that show what happened on the play. The videos to contain graphic content:

Fortunately, and miraculously, Robinson jogged off the field after the landing. The result could’ve been so much worse.
Robinson entered the game having taken 5 carries for 38 yards in Texas’s 59-3 victory over UTEP to open the season. He also caught 2 passes for 9 yards.
While hurdling can certainly provide those big moments during a football game, they can also be pretty dangerous. Fortunately, Robinson appears to be OK. He may just keep his feet on the ground for the foreseeable future.
