Anyone hoping to a swift end to Nick Saban’s Alabama dynasty will likely be sorely disappointed.

The 2020 season was ultimately dominated by the Crimson Tide with Saban and company rolling past Ohio State in the National Championship Game. That gave Saban his seventh national championship as a head coach, including six at Alabama since 2009.

Heading into 2021, Alabama will need to replace a host of key players, including quarterback Mac Jones, running back Najee Harris, and Heisman-winning wide receiver in DeVonta Smith. Unfortunately for the rest of the country, the Crimson Tide have reloaded like few teams can during the 2021 recruiting cycle.

In fact, Hank South with 247 Sports indicated Wednesday morning that Alabama has secured the highest-rated class in the history of the 247 Sports Composite Team Rankings. That 2021 recruiting class has a points total of 325.95 points, surpassing Florida’s 2010 class that previously held the record at 324.67.

The latest recruiting haul for Saban boasts a nation’s-best seven 5-star players to go along with 15 4-star players. That includes nine of the top-50 players nationally for 2021, including three players from the top 10.

Needless to say, any team hoping to end Alabama’s run of dominance will be up for quite the challenge over the coming seasons.
