The Week 1 B1G schedule is out

Matchups for Week 1 games in the B1G have been released.
On Saturday morning, the B1G gradually released its schedule week-by-week during FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff pregame show. We already knew the dates the B1G was planning to start the 2020 season, with opening weekend coming on Oct. 23-24. Now, we know the games.
Below are the Week 1 matchups in the B1G:
- Nebraska vs. Ohio State
- Michigan vs. Minnesota
- Penn State vs. Indiana
- Iowa vs. Purdue
- Illinois vs. Wisconsin
- Rutgers vs. Michigan State
- Maryland vs. Northwestern
The rest of the schedule will continue to be released throughout the morning on Saturday. The B1G is planning to play an eight-game schedule with a “Champions Week” at the end of the year for a ninth game.
That ninth game will be scheduled based on order of finish in each division (No. 1 East vs. No. 1 West, No. 2 East vs. No. 2 West, etc.).
