Eight teams in the National Football League are looking for new head coaches.

It happens every year around this time, and the Monday following the final weekend of the NFL season has even become known as “Black Monday.” This year, one-quarter of the league is searching for a new head coach.

Since the end of the season, the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have all fired their head coaches. The Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns also fired their coaches during the season.

With so many vacancies at the NFL level, there has been some rumors of potential B1G head coaches taking a look at some of the openings. Green Bay was reportedly interested in Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald and the New York Jets were reportedly planning to make a run at Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh.

Both Fitzgerald and Harbaugh have denied having any interest in leaving their respective programs for the NFL.
