The B1G is having an incredible season.

One of the reasons is the play of some of the best wide receivers in the nation, led by David Bell, Chris Olave and Jahan Dotson — PFF has rated the trio as the top three receivers in college football.

Bell is a big part of No. 25 Purdue being where they are, ranked in the AP Top 25 rankings for the first time since 2007. The current B1G Offensive Player of the Week led the Boilermakers to the 24-7 upset win over Iowa over the weekend, catching 11 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown. He leads the B1G with a staggering 135.8 receiving yards per game.

For Olave, it’s been a different scenario, with No. 5 Ohio State looking to climb back to the top of the B1G after tripping up against Oregon in Week 2. So far this season, Olave has 494 receiving yards on 30 receptions and his 7 touchdowns leads the B1G.

Building on his breakout 2020 season at No. 7 Penn State, Dotson has a B1G leading 43 catches for 494 yards and six touchdowns. Dotson has had touchdown catches in each of the first five games of the season and two 100-yard games.
