From start to finish, the B1G wasn’t just the best conference on the field, it was one of the most fun league’s in all of college football to watch.

At the end of the season, the B1G had three games that ranked in the top nine for TV viewership in 2016. One game in each of the final three months of the season was represented to the list tweeted out by Sports TV Ratings:

It’s not much of a surprise that the Michigan-Ohio State game tops the list of 2016. The Game was a No. 2 vs. No. 3 matchup that had B1G Championship and College Football Playoff implications. It didn’t disappoint either, as the game was filled with plenty of drama and wasn’t determined until double-overtime.

That game was preceded by College GameDay, which also set a new record as the show’s most-watched episode.

Coming in at No. 6 was the B1G Championship Game between Penn State and Wisconsin, immediately followed by the primetime contest between the Badgers and Ohio State in Camp Randall Stadium in October.

The B1G was the second-most represented conference in the most watched games of the year, edged out by the SEC. Though both conferences had three league games make the list, the Ole Miss-Florida State game in the opening week of the season rounded out the list.
