A trio of former B1G players have signed their rookie contracts with the New Orleans Saints. The organization made the announcement on Monday.

Former Michigan offensive lineman Cesar Ruiz, former Wisconsin linebacker Zack Baun and former Penn State and Mississippi State quarterback  Tommy Stevens all signed their rookie contracts with the organization. Former Dayton tight end Adam Trautman was the the fourth player to sign.

All four signed four-year deals with the franchise.

Ruiz was a first-round selection by the Saints, being picked No. 24 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. He started in 31 of 36 games during his career in Ann Arbor and declared for the draft following his junior season in Ann Arbor.

Baun was the No. 74 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, going in the third round. Last year, Baun totaled 12.5 sacks and racked up 76 total stops for the Badgers. After a big year in Madison, Baun was an All-American selection.

Steven spent most of his career at Penn State, but opted to transfer to Mississippi State for his final year of eligibility, rejoining Joe Moorhead. He was a seventh-round selection in the draft.
