Two more spring games are on the docket for Saturday, April 16 in B1G country.

Ohio State and Michigan State will be on the field on Saturday afternoon to wrap up the spring football season. Both are coming off strong years in 2021, as both the Buckeyes and Spartans ended with an 11-2 record.

First, Ohio State will hit the field at 12 p.m. ET for the annual spring game. Head coach Ryan Day said this weekend’s scrimmage won’t be a traditional game, but instead will feature the offense vs. defense.

So far, that’s how most of the B1G spring games have gone because of injuries, limiting reps and other factors.

Michigan State will then take the spotlight at 2 p.m. ET in East Lansing. The Spartans will run through individual and position group drills through the first portion of the day and run through a scrimmage in the “second half.”

It will be similar to last year’s format, head coach Mel Tucker said.

Both spring games will air on Big Ten Network.
